NEW SERVICE

A new service we offer is to customers over seas that would like a house cleared in England, we visit the premises either through an Estate agent or Solicitors or maybe a family friend, we take photographs of each room and email them to the customer if there are any items they may want, we then organize the items to be shipped to the customer.

Once the house has been cleared of all the contents we will take photographs again and email them to the customer to show the job has been completed.

Please contact us for more information on this service.

House Clearance FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does it take to clear a house?
A: Depending on the amount of contents in the house, decides on the length of time it takes.

Q: What do you do with all the items left in the house?
A: Almost everything is recycled, all of the small items go to charity shops large items such as wardrobes etc go to Age Concern. Other items go to the waste recycle centres.

Q: There are some items I want out of my house and transporting to another property, what can you do for me?
A: This would not be a problem we would be able to help you with any items you needed moving.

Q: I can only meet you at the weekend/Evenings to let you in to the property.
A; This is fine we work around you as we are not like many House Clearance companies only working Office hours, we can work Evenings or Weekends if this is more appropriate.

Q: How much does it cost to get the house cleared?
A: There are 3 ways we do our pricing:

One: If the contents in the house have small or no resale value we need to charge the customer for our time and for the cost of tipping fees at the local recycling centres.

Two: If there are some items with a resale value, we then work out the price of the items and take the cost of the items off the total bill (which will also include our time and the cost of tipping fees at the local recycling centres).

Three: If the items in the house have a good resale value we would then make you an offer on the items and include the house clearance in the price.
